haha... thats cute.. anyways, no... hardly any of them do. occasionally, the company will take some charachteristics of it and use it later, but very very few go into production. especially the crazy ones you see at the tokyo auto show... they are usually just to show people what all a car company can do and how much money they can waste...

Most concepts will never go into production. They're just used for showing the general public where a particular company may be going with its styling or engine technology, or just to showcase a potential new model and see if it's received favorably.

While a lot of companies pick and choose styling cues from concepts, many of them remain one-offs (like the Cadillac Sixteen).

Write a letter to everyone and anyone you know. Just let them know you started at the dealership and if you can be of any help call. Once they know they will tell their friends if a conversation about new cars comes up.

Next, be on the lot at all times, I have seen so many people waiting at their desk for someone to come to them, if you are on the lot you can approach people as soon as they start looking.

Take some of your business cards and post them around on area bullitien boards, usually the grocery stores, corner stores, pizza places etc. have them.

If you have a little extra money for about $ 50.00 - $ 100.00 per month you can advertise on the placemats in diner or local resturants as well as the local auto trader.

Hope this helps.

I would definitely check out Findmycarseat.com. You can sort by type, price range and what brand you'd like. Not to mention, on the side you can find a link for car seat reviews. I found it helpful and I think you might too!

Steer clear of Dorel--so that Eddie Bauer recommendation is one to disregard. Honestly, you won't find better than Britax or Recaro. But, with a car that small, they're just not going to fit. Neither is the Graco My Ride. I'd recommend a Combi Coccoro-- they are known for fitting 3 across in small cars, and they're lightweight and compact. There is a very good chance she'll outgrow it by height before she'll hit the 40 lb weight limit, so know you're going to have to purchase another 5 pt harness seat when she's big enough to flip forward facing and is approaching 40 lbs, as booster seats are not safe. But, at that point, you'll be able to get that safe Britax seat and you won't have to worry about the front seat passenger.

Here is a great site that can help you www.car-seat.org. Personally I would stay away from the Dorel car seat(Cosco, Eddie Bauer, and Safety First), but that is just a personal opinion. I have heard great things about the Graco MyRide. It has a rear facing limit to 40 pounds and a forward facing limit to 65 pounds.

the reason people buy Hayundai isbecause they're cheap, cheap vehicle is what everyone needs in the screwed up economy by America.

look at Honda, they improve from the beginning and they still improving.

Mazda is ford and stupid

you should buy Mitsubishi, they helped bomb pearl harbor because of their engine....

Maybe Japan should have hit US harder....they should have brought China, India, Australia, Germany, Greenland, Antartica, for help!

great article american idle.

also what people dont understand is many of the american cars made in canada are actually mostly sold in canada. and ones made in mexico are mostly sold in mexico.

in the year 2000 big three employed 390,000 american. by 2007 only 240,000. jobs were lost because japanese makers undeservingly stealing market. same time period all japanese manufactures combined only created 27,000 poor american jobs.

toyota employs about a 3rd the americans as gm, or ford(im even considering their poor temporary worker jobs that makes up 10,000 of 33,000 of their jobs). yet they sell the americans more cars. then they got their fans believing they are more american.

end this nonsense, american is the big three.

american idle has my vote best answer.

Janky: Here's a good read for you, and everyone really, about what an 'American' car actually is:
http://www.thecarconnection.com/tips-article/1010626_at-witz-end-whats-an-american-car
The least important factor is the cars final point of assembly. Even then, the American makes still support more US factory jobs than foreign ones. The most important thing is where the money stays. When you buy a Toyota, all the profits go back to Japan. When you buy a GM or Ford all the profits stay in the American economy. My Swedish built and designed Saab, which at the time I bought it was owned by GM, has put more back into the American economy than your Japanese cars ever will. one could argues that Chrysler is no longer a true American make. Sure, they still have American operations, but in '99 they merged with Mercedes thereby sending all their profits to Germany, and right now they are owned by the Italian company Fiat.

What do I think ha turned people against the Asian makes? A combination of things.
1. The rise in quality in new cars from Ford and GM
2. Patriotism and the economy. our economy is bad, so it feels good buying an American car and supporting it
3. The decline of the Japanese makes. Toyota's are boring, the interiors are cheap, reliability is just average, and with the recent recalls their ethics are being questioned. Honda's are still good, but most of their recent models are just ugly. Nissan still has good cars, but they aren't as well known. Same goes for Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Mazda.

But I think Korean cars are making big gains. Hyundai has easily passed Toyonda in quality, and they are pretty good value too. It's just they're a little awkward looking.

I prefer European makes simply because they make more exciting cars. They're made to a standard, not a price. They're more expensive to buy and own. I don't really care. I buy cars to enjoy them. Most people just want a reliable car to get them from point A to B and back. For them I think the American makes + Hyundai are offering the best cars today.

Of course, when it comes to trucks there's really only one way to go. I like the SUV's from GM and as pickups go the Dodge Ram.

Obviously I want the American makes to succeed. Any American should. They're our makes, they're putting out some killer cars, and it's our economy they benefit.
